To those that are using Solarwinds SAM to monitor linux. We are evaluating it and I have some concerns surrounding filesystem / logical volume monitoring.
It seems the SAM linux perl disk monitor only monitors the root "/" filesystem...What about all the other filesystems? We have linux systems with over a dozen filesystems and while there are some standard ones there are probably hundreds in the enterprise that are not so manually creating them is not an option.
I looked in NPM and all the filesystems were discovered but it seems that these were not shared with SAM.
This seems like such standard functionality I think I must be doing something wrong.... or I hope so.
