Connection to directory service failed

Good Afternoon all

I am running into an issue with my directory services query tool. I am not able to query AD for user groups. I have entered all the information correctly but if I run a test I get two Internal Events, first is an Internal Audit Successful second is a InternalInfo - "Connection to the Directory Service Failed".

Ive read the troubleshooting guide but there is nothing about these errors. The account I am using has permissions to query AD and log into the server.

Any ideas anyone??
