We are currently running linux perl scripts to do logfile monitoring. In the script we are issuing the exit command at the end to gracefully close the connection. The problem is that it doesn't always work and we are seeing the total number of open ssh sessions climbing to the point where we are no longer able to log into the server using ssh as all active connections are full. Currently on one server we are seeing over 200 open ssh sessions with our SAM user as the one opening it. Is there a way to have SAM close these once the script is executed?
