Bulk Import ICMP Nodes with Attributes Help

Hello,

I'm trying to import around 2000 ICMP managed devices.  But I also want to also bulk import the attributes associated to the devices.

• Change the Caption to a hostname rather than IP
• Apply the custom attributes associated to the devices.

I tried importing the devices using discovery manager and list the IP's, then importing custom properties, but there is no import to option for caption, just match or ignore.  So I'm back to having to manually edit each device.

Does anyone know of an automated method of importing devices and attributes from an excel spreadsheet?  I figure there's a way doing this via SQL, but unfortunately my SQL knowledge is very limited.
